How Do I Find Coliving: A question I get asked by both myself and other digital nomads. The stability, conveniences and more importantly, the community that these places hold can be what we all crave on a day-to-day basis, but finding the damn spaces can be quite a challenge (surprisingly).
Google Search
Coliving spaces are exclusively for remote workers. Therefore the owners (usually) refrain from advertising them on search engines such as Booking.com, AirBnB and Hostelworld. This leaves us with our main man, Google.
Try a quick search, see what you can find. Follow-up with some of the below methods, they can give you a better insight into community that the space has created.
Coliving spaces can often be the temporary home to in-the-know bloggers, YouTubers, Content Creators and so-called “influencers”. Since they are hustle wizards, there are many who exchange their services to stay somewhere for a discounted price, or even for free. Coliving companies wisely use these skills to advertise their businesses online, mainly Instagram. To find these accounts simply search #colivingspace. Alternatively, find a coliving account that you like and click the arrow next to ‘Follow’ to reveal suggested accounts. There may be a few other coliving accounts that may strike your interest here.

Youtube
There are a few YouTube personalities who focus on the ‘Digital Nomad’ niche. In the past, they mention or even dedicate a whole video to recommended coliving spaces. Such names include Chris The Freelancer, and Conni Bielsalski. Conversely, you can use the search bar to find a space you already know the name of. This way you’ll be able to watch any videos they have doing room tours, events or interviews with residents, if the space has done so or if a digital nomad has taken the initiative to film it themselves.
Word of Mouth
No matter how many tabs you leave open, or nomads you follow and websites you bookmark, nothing quite beats that solid recommendation from a fellow traveller. Ask your nomad friends where they have previously stayed, and listen to their stories. You never know which tale will ignite your next huge adventure!
